As a spa aficionado, I’m always on the lookout for the best spas to visit when I’m in a new city. I certainly found the ultimate facial experience at the Valmont for The Spa inside The Setai Miami Beach, a stunning beachfront hotel in the landmark Art Deco building on the famed Collins Avenue. It was a perfect pairing when in 2019 the luxury Setai Miami Beach hotel began its partnership with the prestigious Swiss cellular skincare brand Valmont, known for using Switzerland’s pristine glacial spring water, organic botanicals, and their patented triple DNA technology to combat aging. The Valmont Spa offers a head-to-toe complete menu of pampering options. One standout treatment is the bespoke kobido massage, inspired by ancient Japanese traditions and enhanced by Valmont’s signature “butterfly” motion. During my visit, I was warmly greeted by my aesthetician, Amanda, who guided me to a facial room with breathtaking ocean views. She explained each step of the facial and used Valmont’s luxurious products to cleanse and treat my skin.
After a blissful 60-minute session, I emerged from the facial room feeling deeply relaxed. The transformation in my skin was undeniable – it appeared refreshed and revitalized. Walking back to The Spa, Amanda and I passed through the serene hotel lobby adorned with beautiful Asian-inspired artwork. Returning to a discreet white building that housed The Spa, the elegant Spa Director, Cassandra Serra, asked about my experience. I removed my sunglasses to reveal my flawless complexion, responding simply, “Sublime!” Her knowing smile exuded confidence, evidence of the many satisfied guests and their remarkable Valmont spa results. Leaving The Spa, I couldn’t help but feel truly radiant, both inside and out. A visit to Valmont for The Spa at The Setai is an experience that is worth indulging in, and one that will leave you feeling utterly pampered and rejuvenated.
