Top Of The Rock, NYC

There are endless fun things to do in New York City such as seeing a Broadway show to visiting museums and famous historical landmarks.  Top of the Rock is a 55,000 square-foot, six-level complex that offers visitors the most amazing panoramic views of the city.  The experience begins the moment you step into the high-speed sky shuttle elevator that soars smoothly to the top.  Once inside the glass shuttle, colorful lights and photos appear on the ceiling, showing images from the 1930s through present day.  It feels like being transported through time in a capsule as the vessel ascends to the top– the 67th, 69th and 70th floors at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.  The “Grand Viewing Deck” on the 69th floor offers full views of Manhattan in all directions. There are several levels from which to take pictures, some have transparent safety glass panels and other sections are without to allow completely open-air views.  If it does get too cold, the inside observation deck is only a few steps away.  You’ll enjoy an unobstructed view of every major landmark, including Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and the Empire State building.  Guests arriving before sunset can enjoy both the day and nighttime skylines. We highly recommend buying your tickets online in advance.  Better yet, buy the VIP pass to avoid long lines.
